Who We Are

NPU has been transforming forgotten spaces into iconic venues for years. Our venues have hosted concerts, corporate shows, galas, exhibits, and community engagements long before the public knew who was behind them. In 2025, we stopped operating behind the scenes and put our name on the experiences we continue to create.

Non Plus Ultra is the foundation.

NPU acquires, restores, and operates the spaces. We take ports, vaults, terminals, historic structures, and everything in between and make them functional, safe, accessible, and ready for people. A dormant shell becomes a venue with purpose once we bring it back to life.

NPU Live is the expression.

Live is where we take the spaces and turn them into something the public can feel. Festivals, concerts, immersive productions, multi-genre programming, and gatherings built by operators, designers, artists, and builders who live in this world. 

We did not show up yesterday. Our team has spent decades shaping bars, nightclubs, restaurants, festivals, and venues that changed how cities thrive. We evolved what nightlife can be, redefining what a venue is. It is not just a room with a stage. It is an atmosphere you feel the moment the community arrives.

What We Do

We build environments for experience.

Vaulted mint chambers. Working maritime terminals. Historic rotundas. We take raw spaces and engineer the production, sound, lighting, and flow that artists and audiences move through. Every decision is intentional. Every layout is designed to bring people together for joy.

We deliver at scale.

Portola Music Festival at Pier 80. Immersive horror at The Mint. Multi-genre nights at SVN West that collide underground scenes with global talent. These are not events. They are experiences shaped by teams who actually know how to build them.

Why We Exist

We challenge what nightlife became.

Traditional nightlife got stale. Dark rooms, sticky floors, velvet ropes, recycled layouts, copy-paste venues built to keep people out instead of bringing them together. We looked at the city and saw a different canvas. Ports, relics, warehouses, forgotten architecture holding stories trapped inside.

Our mission is to unlock those spaces and reignite the communities around them.

We do not host shows. We create experiences that echo through the scene, that artists want to be part of, and that audiences remember long after the crowd disperses.
